Back to duty again. It is our last duty for this 1st semester, and I'm hoping I can have an actual case for DR since it is also my first time to be assigned in Delivery Room. At the first hour of our duty I'm so hopeless to have my first actual case. There is no patient coming from ER.
Some of the patient who are admitted in the IMU (Intensive Maternal Unit) are those mother or women who abort there child by taking medicines like cytotec. We all know that here in the Philippines "abortion" is not accepted but still they are doing it. They have different reasons why they don't want to continue there pregnancy. One of the patient said that "Ayoko pa magkaroon ulit ng anak.", this patient has a 2-3 year old baby so the doctor said to her "kung ayaw mo pala magbuntis eh di huwag ka makipagsex" it sounds funny but the doctor is serious...
There are also mothers who have more than 3 children and still getting pregnant, the doctors always recommend there patient to be ligated since they have more than 3 children.
It is almost 2:30 at our clock and time to go home again. At 2:40 here now comes a DIRECT ER for DR, and I'm the one who is assigned for the actual. I'm not expecting that I will be having a case for the last minute and I'm so happy. We almost leave the hospital at 3:30pm, but its ok for me I have my actual case anyway. haha
